The journey

Wolf, a shinobi, fights to rescue his young lord. Combat is about deflecting attacks at exactly the right time to break an enemy's posture. The grappling hook lets you move through rooftops and trees.

Who should go

Players who want the toughest challenge and are happy to fail many times before a boss clicks.

Deflect, do not dodge

Unlike similar games, Sekiro rewards pressing the block button just as an attack lands. Learn this early and the game opens up.

Stealth helps

Many fights can be made easier by sneaking around first and taking out guards quietly.
