A surprising number of puzzles solve themselves after a night's sleep. Your brain keeps working on them.
§2 Read what the game gave you
Logs, manuals, maps and journals often hold the answer. Outer Wilds' ship log and Tunic's manual exist to help.
§3 Use graded hints
Look for hint sites that reveal answers one step at a time. Stop as soon as you have enough to continue.
§4 Say it out loud
Explaining the problem to someone, even someone who has not played, often reveals the answer.
§5 Our no-spoiler tips
Each review on this site ends with a single gentle tip for when you get stuck. We never reveal plot points.
